timetravellers Posted March 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2009 We have today swapped our E2 cabin on Indy from 7296 to hump 6640? Made a very quick decision on this. Was this a good idea? Gail
I'm on holiday Posted March 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2009 7296 was a good location, but you gotta LOVE a hump!
Winegirl58 Posted March 7, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2009 We have today swapped our E2 cabin on Indy from 7296 to hump 6640? Made a very quick decision on this. Was this a good idea? Gail The humps are very coveted cabins. I myself just moved from 7326 to hump cabin 7340 and am very excited about it! My only concern, and this is just me, is that deck 5 below you is not a cabin deck, but I believe the shops on the promenade(?) I always make sure that the deck I am on has cabins above and below. Again, that is just me.... heck maybe having the shops below you is quieter at night than some late night partiers! haha have a great cruise!:D
timetravellers Posted March 7, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted March 7, 2009 That is exactly what we were thinking! We sail in 7 weeks and I was just curious to see whether all the cabins had sold out. There was just the one E2 left and it was 6640 (full hump!). We straight away picked up the phone and called our TA and we were swapped. Then, afterwards we thought about it .......! As usual, we turn to Cruise Critic for the best advice and reassurance. Counting the days. Gail
KAWS Posted March 7, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2009 I think you made a good swap. You'll be able to see all up and down from that hump. You wouldn't have had the same view from the other cabin.
timetravellers Posted March 7, 2009 Author #6 Share Posted March 7, 2009 After all your comments, I think we're going to be spoilt! We are getting very excited and surfing the net to find photos. How will we feel on our next cruise - inside cabin Balmoral for 2 nights! Gail
sunset7 Posted March 8, 2009 #7 Share Posted March 8, 2009 We were on the hump on deck six on Liberty OTS. It is a great location, we never had issues with noise from the deck below. You will be happy with your choice!:)

timetravellers Posted March 8, 2009 Author #9 Share Posted March 8, 2009 Thank you everyone for your comments. We seem to have made a good choice. It's brought the reality of the cruise much closer now. Less than 7 weeks to go! Gail
