Planning day in Juneau (Mt. Roberts and Mendenhall)

We were thinking of doing Mendenhall and Mt. Roberts. Looks like there's going to be 4 other ships in port. We're there from 6A-3P. Should we do these in a particular order in a crowded port?

Mt. Roberts is right downtown near where ships dock. I would go to Mendenhall first. It is further out of town. Then you could go to Mt. Roberts before re-boarding your ship.

I too would do Mendenhall first and there will be Kiosks right on the dock selling shuttle bus tickets to Mendenhall for about $7. pp -

Then when you get back from Mendenhall depending on the weather you could go up Mt Roberts - the gondola terminal is right on the dock. You do not ned to pre-buy your tickets and if the weather turns cloudy & rainy it is not worht going up....

You have plenty of time for both. Being that Mt Roberts is an all day ticket, you might want to head up, in clear weather, first??

 

Depending on what you are doing at Mendenhall, should then be time for a return trip up, if of interest?
