Buccaneer's Beach Bar?

Can anyone tell me exactly what beach/or where Buccaneers Beach Bar is located? Is there a good beach near it?

 

Also, is it logistically close to Dawn's Beach? If so, any ideas on taxi fares to these two places from Phillipsburg?

 

We want to go to Dawn's Beach and then finish at Buccaneers Beach Bar. We went to Orient last time and had a blast but are thinking about doing something different. Any help is appreciated.

Buccaneer is located at Simpson Bay (near the airport). It's on the opposite side of the island from Dawn. Kim Sha Beach is footsteps away.

 

Buccaneer is okay but better at night. However, as long as you're near Simpson Bay, I would suggest you go to Sunset Beach Bar at the foot of the runway and Maho Beach. There's much more action at Sunset! By the way, topless women get free drinks.

Thanks for the info. Is it ok for kids during the day. We have a 7 yr. old and we are ok with topless,she has seen this traveling and it doesn't phase her. But.......some of those pictures looked pretty wild! Is that night time partying or all of the time? Thanks for the information.

Most of that activity is at night. Daytime is normally pretty tame except for a casual sun worshiper coming up to the bar from the beach for a "free" drink.

Thanks, sounds fun. Told my husband about it and he "insists" we check out the bar! Imagine that.

Yep - Left coast about as far from the warm Caribbean as one could get. My MIL has a place on Lake Pend Orille (Bayview), ID and we visit her frequently. Nice part of the world, but no powder sugar sand and 85 degree water huh!! We spend 3 weeks a year in St. Maarten so it's kinda like a second home. Our place is on Simpson Bay about 2 minutes from the Buccaneer Beach Bar.
