VOLLEYBALLDUDE2000 Posted March 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2009 Anyone have any feedback on the Wyndham Beach Resort & Spa All Inclusive Beach Day that is offered through Island Marketing? Thanks. We were there last week and although the resort was very nice it did not offer anything that we could not get on the ship (except free drinks, but how much can you drink for that price). The beach is very rocky and snorkeling was not possible because of high waves. The kids enjoyed the pool, and i played some beach volleyball. IMHO it is too much money for what you get. VOLLEYBALLDUDE2000 Posted March 12, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2009 Ours was a last minute decision, because we got an email from Island Marketing that Nachi Cocom, which we had originally booked, was closed for a wedding. And the kids were to young for any of the more active excursions. You live and learn.
letsgocruz1 Posted March 13, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 13, 2009 Does anyone else get the impression that island marketing is pushing Whyndam and trying to get people to go there instead of Nachi? It just seems like they are cancelling Nachi a lot or telling people they are full. Just curious if anyone else feels this way??

Well I had noticed it, and its not just on this board that it's happening. I don't know for sure, but it certainly makes me wonder...

cks Posted March 16, 2009 #9 Share Posted March 16, 2009 Does it really surprise anyone? Look at how many threads have Nachi in the title. And lately, everyone's posts have mentioned that there were a ton of people there. I think it exploded as the place everyone had to be, and mob mentality took over. It's the main reason I chose NOT to book Nachi.
