Aquahound Posted March 13, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2009 I stayed in 9690 on Explorer (sister ship). Here are my photos: http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2005594540080150150PDQnJv I loved the room. However, 7688 has a HUGE balcony that wraps around. Personally, I think you made the right decision. 7688 is one of the most sought after rooms by frequent cruisers.

Aquahound Posted March 14, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2009 Thank you the cabin looks small compare to the one we have on the Constellation this spring. Christine Yea, it's an E-1 or E-2. It is the smallest of the balcony categories. If you are looking for a larger, more spacious balcony room, look for a D-1 or D-2.
weechloe Posted March 14, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 14, 2009 Keep 7688. Those corner afts at the best ones on the ship. We have had both cabins. When I'm searching for afts I always look for the corner on the 7th.
Kikkycat Posted March 14, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 14, 2009 7688 may not have a huge room, but it makes up for it in balcony! We had 7388 on Adventure (sister ship). I didn't take any cabin pics but am willing to share these of the balcony. We had five chairs (2 upright, 1 with attached ottoman, 2 chaise loungers) and one small table. There was room for more. During our Meet & Mingle's cabin crawl, we had 19 people standing on our balcony... and room for 4 or 5 more easily!
