acorn39 Posted March 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2009 I will be getting off the Carnival Fantasy ship Thursday, March 19 (9am-5pm). Does the time differ once we get off the ship at 9am Carnival's times with the time in Cozumel?
nofishforme Posted March 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2009 it will be central time in cozumel the same as when you depart from new orleans . I you where sailing from the east coast you would change your watch and watch your time . But they will make it very clear to you on the ship through anouncement and the caper if you have to change your time

Since the U.S. extended the length of the "Savings Season", this has been the source of mucho confusion. Cozumel is now and will remain until Sunday April 5th on Central Standard, two hours behind Miami (Eastern) and one hour behing New Orleans (Central Daylight Savings). Pay attention to whatever your ship says. I know of four young ladies who missed their ship the other day in confusion over ship time vs local time. expo Posted March 17, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2009 I just came back from a Carnival port call in Coz and they repeated over and over to remain on ship time, not local time which was 2 hours off eastern time.
