poss Posted March 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2009 I know that they're quite different from each other, and they both sound wonderful. I guess I'm hoping that some people may've done both and might be able to lean me in one direction or the other. The first tour goes by speedcat out to Glacier Point and then to Davidson Glacier (I think by canoe?) The other one I'm interested in is the scenic rail up from Skagway and a trip to the Yukon suspension bridge, and then coach back down to port. At our age (late 70's) we're not likely to get back to Alaska, so trying to make best choices for our August cruise (Regent Mariner). Thanks! Yukon Posted March 16, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2009 Those are both excellent choices - you really can't go wrong whichever way you go. Personal preferences will determine which is best for you - the Davidson Glacier is a MUCH more active trip, though not difficult by any means.
