scrambled Posted March 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2009 We will be going in Sept 6 and I noticed that there is an outdoor cafe on one of the decks, does anyone know if they have that open during the alaska tour?
Budget Queen Posted March 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2009 You mean during your sailing??? Meaning able to eat outside??? It's darn cold, and any hot food gets cold real fast. The only dining I saw outside was the overflow from the full tables of the buffet. Not ideal, and probably won't be in your sailing timeframe either. luv2getaway Posted March 19, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2009 We were on the Sun last year to Alaska. I can definitely say that we did eat some lunches outside at the back of the ship. When the sun comes out it can feel really nice and warm (but then again, I am from Canada!;))
Tweedy Posted March 23, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2009 I was on the Sun last September to Alaska. Yes, the eating area is open as well as the Great Outdoor Cafe. However, they did not usually have both sides of the Cafe open.
