Does Carnival ever give

extension on payments? We have friends going with us and something came up, they need about a ten day extension on final payment due 3/24. Of the 2860.00 due they need extension on about 500.00 of that:eek:

Why don't you pay for it then they can pay you back?

If they call Carnival (or the TA, if you used one) Carnival will probably allow the extension, but just know that they aren't contractually obligated to and thus might not. Most likely the answer will depend on how close the sailing is to being fully booked.

They do but it's up to them if they want to or not. Have them call their PVP or whoever they booked through. Tell them they can pay all but the $500 and see if they'll float the rest.

Yes, call the PVP and request an extension. I have done this once in the past for my daughter, and there was no problem at all with it.

Best thing is for them to contact Carnival. -or their travel agent.

 

Sometimes something can be worked out for a couple of days. 10 days is doubtful but it never hurts to try.

I have read on here that Carnival will make short extensions. But as stated above they are not obligated.

I would be sure they got a firm answer before they pay anymore though. Don't want to pay a couple thousand and then be told too late for the rest and lose it.

I bet they'd give it because the other option is to cancel and rebook in ten days.

We put ours on a cc and if we can't pay it off that month, we pay it off the next. Do they have a cc?
