Suzanne123 Posted March 21, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2009 You'll get all kinds of advice on this, but at that age, my kids would have loved the whale watches, zip lines, canoe/kayak, and glacier trek trips. -- And bored to death with the White Pass RR, salmon bakes and lumberjack shows. Just a thought -- You can download all the ships' excursions from their web sites and let the kids take a look. Even if you end up booking independently, you'll have an idea of what's available. Budget Queen Posted March 21, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2009 Have you booked a cruise?? For shore excursions, you need to list the ports, but FIRST take a look at a shore excursion list, and narrow down your interests, then repost. If you haven't booked a cruise, then head to your library and get Alaska By Cruiseship and other Alaska travel books, the more you know, the better your choices will be for your priorities.
