Celebrity Millenium on Southbound Alaska Cruise, cabin location?

Seeking expertise: We will be taking a Southbound cruise on the Celebrity Millenium ship this summer and have a choice for our veranda room of either being on the Starboard side, Midship or being on the Port Side, close to the bow. Is the view much better on the Starboard side and is the ship considerably smoother if you are Mid-ship versus far upfront? Appreciate any insight. thanks! Jon
