Hotel Port Canaveral

Does anyone know of a hotel in Port Canaveral that is close to where Monarch of the Seas departs?

Thank You

JHA

We really enjoyed the Radisson Resort at the port. It's a mile or two from the port. Nice place with a restaurant and bar. They also have a pool if you are interested.

We stayed last November for about $100 / night.

The Radisson is great. There is also a Residence Inn right there. We have stayed at both (actually got married at the Radisson). If you have kids - and like a "resort style" pool, I would recommend the Radisson - beautiful grounds. But - if you are ok with a large quiet pool, and want a kitchenette in the room and free breakfast, I recommend the Residence Inn. Very nice - only about a year old. There is a Hertz on property too.

I think there is a Country Inn and Suites right there as well, but it is brand new - I have never stayed there (and I may have the name wrong).

Enjoy your stay - we used to live right there and LOVE the Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral area. Try to go to Grills at the port for a meal - yum yum!

I've stayed at the Residence Inn and it was a great experience ... the place was clean, offered free food and beer on weeknights, and is the closest hotel to the port. The staff is also awesome ... my niece's MP3 player ran out of battries and they scrounged for some for her from their office equipment instead of asking her to buy the ones they sold in the their little onsite shop.

The Best Western is about 3 miles from the port and they have a great rate and are located next to a nice pier and and some great restaurants. They also offer a shuttle to the port. Our rate for May arrival is $99 for a king size room. We stayed at the Raddison before and it was a nice hotel, so our main reason was wanting a change in location. Good luck finding a nice place.

Both my girlfriend and I are Marriott Rewards members. We stayed at the Residence Inn for our cruise last year on points for free and had a great time. It's a short ride to the terminal and all of the good restaurants at the port as well. There is a small bar near the pool as well which we made full use of the night before the cruise while chilling in the hot tubs. Breakfast was good as well and coffee 24/7. We really liked that hotel and will be staying there again if we sail out of PC in the future. Rooms were all suites I think.

A few miles from the port is also a La Quinta- it used to be Cocoa Beach Oceanside Inn (when I stayed there). It was a short ride to the port plus it was RIGHT on the beach next to the bars and restaurants of Cocoa Beach pier. It also had a nice little pool area. Across the street was a Publix- which was nice to grab some snacks and beer to have on the hotel balcony. I'm not sure what La Quinta all did to the hotel, but from what I saw from photos- they've done some updating all around.

note that as you search, there are NO hotels in Port Canaveral as there is no town of Port Canaveral. PC is the port and only the port and is in the township of Cape Canaveral. You want to look for hotels in Cape Canaveral or the next town down A1A....Cocoa Beach.

Ditto for car rental locations....
