Temp in NYC

Hi

We are flying into NY next week three nights prior to our cruise.

What is the weather like there now? Will we still need winter coats & hats etc or should rain coats / fleece be ok?

Thanks

This time of year it's always hard to predict. My heavy winter coat is away for the year. I've been wearing a medium jacket. Your best bet is to bring layers. It could be warmish during the day where just a sweatshirt is fine but then cold again in the evening.

I was in Manhattan the weekend before Memorial Weekend two years in a row and the temps were 40s and freezing rain.

I'd bring my winter coat.

Don't forget even if the air temps are in the 50s, the ocean water is hovering around 38 degrees which will make the air feel much colder.
