cavkc Posted March 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2009 Hi We are flying into NY next week three nights prior to our cruise. What is the weather like there now? Will we still need winter coats & hats etc or should rain coats / fleece be ok? Thanks

CRIRUN Posted March 25, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 25, 2009 This time of year it's always hard to predict. My heavy winter coat is away for the year. I've been wearing a medium jacket. Your best bet is to bring layers. It could be warmish during the day where just a sweatshirt is fine but then cold again in the evening.
BlueHerons Posted March 26, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2009 Hi We are flying into NY next week three nights prior to our cruise. What is the weather like there now? Will we still need winter coats & hats etc or should rain coats / fleece be ok? Thanks I was in Manhattan the weekend before Memorial Weekend two years in a row and the temps were 40s and freezing rain. I'd bring my winter coat. Don't forget even if the air temps are in the 50s, the ocean water is hovering around 38 degrees which will make the air feel much colder.

Smellytoes Posted March 29, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 29, 2009 We left out of NYC two early Aprils in a row. In 2006 people were swimming in the pools. In 2007 in snowed:mad:
