JDinWA Posted March 28, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2009 I don't recall which time of year we went, but it doesn't matter -- it's mostly inside, and quite tropical (temperature and humidity) in the butterfly rooms. The Butterfly Garden is really interesting. In September 2007 we rented a car from Enterprise and drove to Butchart Gardens and stopped at the Butterfly Garden on the way back. The day we were there was a typical Pacific Northwest one with temperatures in the low 50s F. The Gardens are kept at a temperature in the 80s with high humidity and my camera lens kept fogging up after being take from the much cooler car. Still got some great pictures though.
