Go With Gus.... How many kids?

My wife would like to know about how many kids are at the school in the Go With Gus Humanitarian Tour.

Hi there,

 

We were on the humanitarian tour two weeks ago and there were 68 students at the school. They split them into two groups, depending upon age. Great excursion, by the way!

We just did the Humanitarian tour & the school only had maybe 30-35 kids. Gus takes tours to different schools so I am sure the numbers will vary. This tour was a highlight of our trip & the visit to the school was the best part for us. The kids were all so happy & oh, so beautiful!

Thanks, was there an age range? Mostly Elementry school age, or middle scool and high school age too?

If I remember correctly, they were K through 6th or 8th grade. I don't believe they have schooling for older children in this particular village on the Rio Dulce. They were split into two separate buildings according to age, but approximately 30 +/- students in each schoolhouse.

Gus did mention that they have high school in the same building, but later in the day. I think the older kids go from 2:00 until 7:00 or so.
