graysladymurphy Posted March 31, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2009 Anyone book with Sam's Club travel and get their $50 specialty restaurant credit? Did it come in as an OBC? I haven't heard of anything and thought I'd check here before I give them call.
daring Posted March 31, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2009 I believe my TA said I would get an in store credit for Sams when I completed my cruise, but I don't remember any OBC being mentioned.
graysladymurphy Posted April 1, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted April 1, 2009 No, I will get that too. They were running a special when I booked last Feb. where you get a $50 dining room credit per room for reservations a for the specialty restaurants. I better call them. graysladymurphy Posted April 1, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted April 1, 2009 I called my TA and they said it would show up as an OBC when I boarded the ship. Not sure exactly how that works though, since they said it is only for dinner reservations but up to $50. I'd love to hear from someone who actually had this credit. luvswater Posted April 1, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 1, 2009 I have used Sam's club travel as a travel agent several times. The $50 comes in the forms of a Sam's gift card, and it is usually by FedEx or UPS. It arrives 6-8 weeks after the cruise and is always a nice surprise. :eek:The more your cruise cost, the more your gift card will be.
LaShelle2 Posted April 2, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 2, 2009 Anyone book with Sam's Club travel and get their $50 specialty restaurant credit? Did it come in as an OBC? I haven't heard of anything and thought I'd check here before I give them call. I booked w/ BJ's Wholesale travel and got $50 BJ's card. You don't have to have a membership to book through them. They garunte to beat anybody else'd prices. They were the lowest I could find. If you don't need the card, sell it on ebay or mail it to me!!!
