KingofSomewhereHot Posted April 1, 2009 #26 Share Posted April 1, 2009 I've heard they are ice cold from some and just regular cold from others LOL They drain and refill them with fresh ocean water each night so they really don't have time to get warm, warm. I haven't been in them because I can't handle cold water but I might have to get over it this year and dive it. Is this process something that is Carnival exclusive? I remember the pools on Princess and Norwegian being pretty warm the whole time.
libby10205 Posted April 1, 2009 #27 Share Posted April 1, 2009 They heated the water on The Carnival Splendor around SA. No children and warm water:)
sailor44 Posted April 1, 2009 #28 Share Posted April 1, 2009 Be thankful for cool water. When we were on the Disney cruise the temp of the adult pool was the same as the hot tubs. We complained but they said they were the right temperature (yeah, but for cannibals!) Paid twice the price and was almost dinner!
