Day rate hotel in Miami near Aventura Mall?

We are sailing on Freedom of the Seas in April and disembark at 9am but don't fly home until the evening.

 

We are looking for a hotel in the heart of things that will give us a day rate so that we can store our luggage and use the pool and other facilities for that day only. We do not need a room.

 

We have two children, ages 9 and 7, and do not want to spend the day at the airport guarding our luggage.

 

My agent says that no nice hotels in Miami give a day rate. I am sure she is wrong.

 

Any advice anyone?

Aventura mall is about 20-30 minutes from MIA......

 

Not sure if any hotels there will have a day rate....kind of depends on how busy.

 

The residence inn by aventura mall is very nice.........but again you'd have to go all the way there...and all the way back...........
