Does anyone which pier the Century would be docked at in Amsterdam?

 

Also, anyone know how much a taxi costs from Schipol Airport to the pier?

Century docks at Passenger Terminal Amsterdam.

The address is Piet Heinkade 33.

 

Fixed price from PTA to Schiphol Airport is 42,00 euro.

The cruise-terminal is closte to city center Amsterdam.

Apart from a cab (fare about E. 40,-) if you donot have too much luggage taking the train can be an option.

Regular trains leave from the airport to cCentraal Station.

From either a short cabdrive, walk for about 15 minutes or tramnr. 15 direction PTA.

I am sailing on the Century Transatlantic that leaves Miami in April and ends in Amsterdam. Captains Club quoted me a rate of $33 per person for transportation from the port to the airport. It will cost considerably less to go via the train...around 4 euros one way I think. From what I understand, you would take a tram from the port to the train station. If you have little luggage, that would be a cheap option.

I am also sailing on the Century from Miami to Amsterdam April 25th. They have an excursion that takes you from the ship on a small tour and then to airport...but it says you must have a flight 3 p.m. or later. Mine is 2:45. Think I can make it?

 

Also..does anyone have any clue how long we will be staying south when we leave Miami? I'm wondering if there's any hope of having a day or two when we can use the pool and be outside while it's still very warm. Any info would be appreciated!
