elvo73 Posted April 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2009 I'm traveling with my husband and 2 children, one is 1 yr. old and the other one is 4 yrs. old. The advantage of the Veendam is the inside pool but at the same time they don't have a place for chidlrens to play like the princess. Any opinion on this issue? agabbymama Posted April 22, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2009 Not real sure where you are getting the info that HAL doesn't have an area for kids, this quote is from the HAL Veendam website: "Club HAL®: our dedicated youth facilities and activities for kids ages 3 - 12; activities are supervised and age appropriate The Loft and The Oasis: designed exclusively for teens (13 - 17) to have fun, socialize and hang out with people their own age" HAL would get my vote over Princess. I just like the elegance, size of ships and amenities on HAL. Have a great cruise whatever you decide.
