Perki Posted December 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2004 Due to the ship not departing San Juan & CdC til 11pm are both nights open seating in the main dining room?! DH and I always love to meet our tablemates and usually end up hanging out on shore and while participating in some onboard competitions - that'll be hard to do if we don't get to meet them til a night or two into the cruise...help! Rare Lois R Posted December 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 7, 2004 Hi:) .....the first night possibly.....but I don't believe Celebrity has any nights in the dining room that are open seating during the week. Even though the ports are late, I believe the dining room has the regular dinner hours. If you don't plan on eating at your assigned table, just be courteous and let your waiter know:) ...they appreciate it. I know on my sailing there is one evening some folks are going into town for a show....so they will miss eating in the dining room that night. I am pretty sure open seating is only breakfast and lunch.
sweetair Posted December 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 7, 2004 open seating on the constellation is on embarkation day only...all the rest of the dinners are regular seating hours *sweet*
Perki Posted December 8, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted December 8, 2004 Thanks, I was hoping it was just the 1st night, just wondered since we are leaving CdC same time as San Juan and thought maybe the cruiseline would think people would be off-ship still during dining hours and make it open seating too like San Juan. Thank you!
Ma Bell Posted December 8, 2004 #5 Share Posted December 8, 2004 I have found that with a late departure most of the people just go to their regular tables on the first night as well.:)
