sun 4 1 Posted December 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2004  Can cruise visitors still use their pool area? How much to get there? THANX!!:p
rebeljohn Posted December 8, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2004 Four of us hired a taxi for $10pp per day. One of the places we went was the Mayan. We used the beach there(public), but did not use the pool. Swimming and snorkeling there was excellent.

houtexme Posted December 9, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 9, 2004 Does Mayan Princess have a website? If so, I would like to see it. I have been to Roatan twice and have never heard of this place. From all the postings, it sounds wonderful. Where is it on the island and how long does it take to get there from the pier? Thanks in advance. houtexme Posted December 10, 2004 #6 Share Posted December 10, 2004 Thanks for the website to Mayan Princess. From your screen name on this board, you gotta be from Louisiana. I'm from Texas, and I thank you very much. I love Roatan and am thinking about traveling there via plane, not cruise ship. I have done that twice. Looking for a new adventure. Thanks again. Houtexme You're welcome. I though I replied to this, but seem to have a knack for hitting some unknown combination of keys that nukes my message after I thought I had posted it. Sorry about that. Yes, I'm originally from New Orleans and head back there often. I think there several other "resorts" in the same area as Mayan Princess. http://www.lasrocasresort.com/ Is one that I think is also mentioned in this thread. http://roatanet.com/listing/roatan-hotels-resorts.php lists a number. ljones Posted January 8, 2005 #8 Share Posted January 8, 2005 Rebeljohn - Did you simply contact a taxi @ the port when you got off the ship? Did they take you around the Island & to the Mayan Princess? Did they wait while you snorkled & then return you to the ship??? Thanks.
