Radiance of the Seas question

Recommended Posts

I have never been on the Radiance of the Seas and it has been awhile since I have been on the Serenade of Seas and Brillance of the Seas and we are having a memory loss as far as a place to snack at night. I think there is a place to eat near the kids waterslide but I can't remember the name and what kind of food do they serve. Can someone help me- if we need a snack where do go other than the Windjammer and I know that there is no Johnny Rockets onboard.

You are thinking of the Seaview Cafe. Great food there, cooked to order. The Seaview has odd hours and usually takes up the slack when the Windjammer is closed.

I think food is also available in the Solarium during certain hours.

Hi Larry..........You are thinking of the SeaView Cafe. On our recent consecutive cruise on Radiance, the SeaView was only opened from noon until 7PM on Sea days and 3PM until 7PM on port days.

The Solarium Cafe was opened from 12:30PM until 7PM on sea days and 3PM until 7PM and 1:00AM until 5:00AM on port days.

The Windjammer was opened from 11PM until 1AM on both sea and port days for snacks.

Thanks. What kind of food does the Seaview cafe serve?

Burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, wings, nachos, "fish and chips"- more like fish sticks IMHO:(,desserts, milk shakes, soft drinks, coffee and tea are the things that come immediately to mind. On our cruises on Jewel of the Seas, the Seaview has usually been open for lunch on sea days and again from early or mid-evening until midnight or 1am. Solarium Cafe also served food late at night.:)

Larry, you can also get any kind of mixed drink/beer there also.........but there is a charge. They also charge for milkshakes.

The SeaView on Radiance has the best onion rings and Cuban Sandwiches, plus two soups, one of which is excellent clam chowder. You can get different types of salads also.

Get there early, because there is always a line when it first opens. Seating is both inside and outside...........but if it is cool and windy, you will want to sit inside. You can also get your order to go if you want to eat in the WJ aft section on Deck 11 or back to your cabin.

The best way to get there is walk through the WJ all the way to the outside eating area and take the steps up.
