paul929207 Posted June 9, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2009 Depending on when you cancel, Princess my refund a part of your cruise cost. If you cancel betwee 57 & 74 days before sailing, yo get all but the brouchure deposit amount back, 29 to 56 days prior, you get 50% back, 15 to 28 days you get 25%. Within 14 days nothing. f you purchased insurance, then that may reimburse you for the rest. It would depend on the reason for cancelling and the policy you purchased. Pam in CA Posted June 10, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 10, 2009 My cruise is already paid for..we are going on the Princess Caribean for 9 days in August and I would like to know what would happen if I decide to cancel my trip?? As has been said, there is a strict cancellation policy based on the number of days prior to sailing. Also, check your insurance policy to see whether there are any cancellation conditions or if it's 'cancel for any reason.' No matter what the reason, Princess will not modify their policy, refund anything other than what is clearly stated in the cancellation schedule or transfer your booking to another cruise unless they have specifically contacted you with a "move over" offer. City_Woman Posted June 10, 2009 #7 Share Posted June 10, 2009 And don't forget that some TAs also work with tour companies to book your cruise so there may be cancellation charges with them too. If you booked directly with Princess that`s a different story. Judy
