Having just come off Liberty and having had a wonderful:) time, we are looking to book another Carnival cruise after Oasis of the Seas in January.

Will Dream be different than Liberty or will it just be a larger version?

primarily a larger version... but it will features some of the following which will distinguish it:

an extra passenger deck = taller boat

an exterior promenade that goes all the way around

cantilevered whirlpools / hottubs

an 'ocean plaza' - a new sort of common area

the carnival waterworks slides & splash park

a much larger spa

some different dining options which are currently hush hush

cove balcony staterooms

deluxe ocean view staterooms w/ 2 bathrooms

staterooms with quint capacity

2 deck mini golf course

'outdoor cafes' on the promenade deck

Thank you, Mark.

That's helpful information.:)

no problem - if you'd like to read / see more about dream, john heald just visited and is writing a series of posts about the construction of the ship this week - including pics of current progress / construction:

he goes into some more detail than i did - like for instance that the stage for musicians in the lobby will be 'suspended' above the lobby bar, and the sorts of entertainment to expect in the 'ocean plaza'. he also said that the piano bar will be different - more of an open-concept with no doors, etc.

take a look if you're interested :D
