NEW 2 CRUISIN Posted June 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2009 Hey COREY! We had wanted to go fishing at one of our port stops this year, too, and I did a bit of research on the charters. Be aware that I could not find a single charter fleet that would take two "walk-up" reservations on an open boat. Every single charter company/boat owner I looked at wanted to charge hundreds of dollars for a full day/full boat rental. Kind of silly when there are just two of us. It might work out better with 6 of you splitting the cost. About 6 years ago in Acapulco, we just got up, walked over to the fishing docks, paid one of the charter captains $25 and joined another party of 2 that had doe the same and were already on the boat. Couldn't find anything like that for Maz, PV, or Cabo. Please post back if you find one! Good Luck! :)
NEW 2 CRUISIN Posted June 15, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2009 Has anyone else on these boards gone deep sea fishing as an excursion on your Mexican Riviera Cruise? Just wondering how the timing worked out and which port/fishing charter you may have used? Thanks! :)
