*Mach* Posted June 19, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 19, 2009 The supper club is an upscale restaurant that you'll find on the Conquest class, Spirit class and the Splendor. It favors a steak house with a wonderful menu, fantastic attentive service and tremendous quality. The cost is $30/pp which includes gratuity but most diners feel that the service and food deserves additional gratuities. :)
Rare PaddleAddict Posted June 19, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 19, 2009 The Supper Club is a specialty restaurant on board some Carnival ships. There is a fee ($30 per person, I believe) and you are served a really wonderful meal (appetizer, soup or salad, main course and dessert) and experience great service. The food is a step above what you can get in the dinning room. I'm sure others will chime in with photos and descriptions. Some people think it's not worth the extra fee, but my fiance and I loved our experiences in the Supper Club and definitely will be making reservations on our upcoming Spirit cruise. LorrieB Posted June 19, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 19, 2009 It is an amazing restaurant with a $30 per person charge. The food is exceptional, the service is exceptional and the chef sends out little extras throughout the meal. It is worth the money. I would recommend everyone try it at least once. You will enjoy it. Although.... I would not recommend for children. Dinner usually lasts 2+ hours.

salty dingo Posted June 19, 2009 #12 Share Posted June 19, 2009 I think the supper club is an amazing place. It really is quite different in terms of quality and service from the free food you get. I have heard people complain that you are charged "per entree". You would not want to order two even if there was no extra charge. The size of the entree is much larger than you get in the dining room. Plus, the appetizers are bigger, richer, and more plentiful, so you are half way full by the time the entree arrives... and then you MUST save room for dessert! Fabulous. Nope, nobody will be eating two entrees at one sitting! I don't care if you are an NFL linebacker, you can't do it! :D

Cruisin'Nini Posted June 20, 2009 #14 Share Posted June 20, 2009 Do I just do this once we get on the ship? Do reservations for the Supper Club fill up fast?
Rare Tgianco Posted June 20, 2009 #15 Share Posted June 20, 2009 Chocolate Decadence looks great, as does the singer on the Splendor. Why didn't I go to the Supper Club a few weeks back? I'm there next time. The Splendor freaking rocks! (pumping rock horns into the air like I'm at a Crue concert, circa 1989)
