PhillyTom Posted June 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2009 There is a group of us sailing on EOS on the 08/20/09 nine night cruise. I know there are two formal nights, but I was wondering if any other nights have themes in MDR (ex. caribbean, 70's, etc.). We want to pack appropriate clothing. cb at sea Posted June 22, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2009 You don't really "dress" to the theme...it's more to designate that night's menu! Aside from a hawaiian shirt on "tropical" night, or the odd cowboy hat on Country night, you won't see any special attire.

We want to pack appropriate clothing. Execpt for European cruiseas where you may have a masked ball after purchasing masks in Venice, or a toga night on a Costa cruise, people do not dress in theme. The only "theme" might be the night when they have a Caribbean night up on the pool deck. You might see a few Hawaiian type shirts.
MaskedTurtle Posted June 23, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2009 I, too, like dressing for the theme, even though it's not required. I went on the 9 night cruise this past January, and there were 2 "Caribbean Attire" nights & 1 "70's Attire" night. On my cruise, the nights were as follows: Day 4: San Juan, Puerto Rico: Caribbean Attire Day 5: St. Thomas, USVI: Caribbean Attire Day 7: Labadee, Haiti: 70's Attire I had forgotten to bring caribbean attire with me, so I simply bought some while in port.
