stingray80 Posted June 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2009 We will be sailing in a D1 Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony. I've confirmed it has a fold-out Sofa, but does it have a Mini-Fridge? Is it under the desk? I've heard you can ask the attendants to remove the for-sale items that come in it. Is the fridge cold enough to keep a few bottles of water cool? Thanks!
peteukmcr Posted June 24, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2009 Yes, there is a mini bar/fridge and I understand you can ask your stateroom attendant to remove the items in order that you can use it to cool items. It should be adequate to keep a few bottles of water cool.
Shekim Posted June 24, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2009 We requested all items to be removed and they were. And it barely keeps the items above room temperature. But keep an eye on your onboard account...we were charged $13 for items removed on the 2nd to last night. We went to the desk and had them remove the charge. Really no questions asked. And yes, the fridge is in a cabinet under the tv/desk.
cb at sea Posted June 24, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 24, 2009 If you keep the cabinet door open a bit, the fridge will cool better---air-flow and all that! Have your room attendant remove any items, so that there's no "misunderstanding"--the attendant is responsible for the fridge contents and billing you.
