ES or Fun Saver

I am booking out cruise tomorrow for Jan. I just pulled up Carnival's price list and I have 3 options all for the same price. I can do past guest, es or fun saver. My question is which is the better gamble. Do I choose fun saver hoping for a higher deck or ES and hope for a price drop.

We are doing Oceanview on Dream.

Just looking for some opinions here. The date is very set as I had to work some magic to get my boss to let me off work that week.

If the fun saver price was the same as early saver, I might choose that one, and hope for a upgrade. You can always change to the early saver down the line.

I had initially intended to book ES. But seeing as this is a new ship and price drops are probably going to be next to nonexistent, I'm leaning more towards the FunSaver. Thanks for you opinion.

Be careful about booking the early saver. IF you make any changes there is a higher penalty fee!! Just got socked with a $150 loss when someone changed their minds and cancelled on me!!
