Transportation for Orlando Intl. to Port Canaveral

My husband and I will be sailing on FOS with RCCL in September. We will be flying in the day before we set sail. We will be flying on Stand by because a family member works for the airline and we fly for free. My question is has anyone used a transportation service over to Port Canaveral from Orlando Intl. We will be staying at a hotel right there at Port Canaveral. So mainly we need transportation from Orlando Intl. Airport to the hotel at Port Canaveral and then from Port Canaveral to the airport at the end of the cruise. Does anyone have any recommendations or experiences they can share? Someone had recommended Art's Trasportation, has anyone used them?

Thanks!

I agree. Just go to the rental car place in Port Canaveral turn the car in and they'll take you to the terminal. They'll also pick you up on return and get you your car for the trip back to MCI. Even renting a van for abig group could be cheaper than the toal round trip costs for everyone on a shuttle.

We reserved a car service for our trip in October. More expensive then a rental car or shuttle service, but it's door to door without waiting. There are a ton of them in the Orlando area that provide this service. Do a search in the internet and contact them until you find one that makes you feel comfortable. They are are roughly the exact same price, give or take a few dollars.

We'll just take a cab from the hotel to the port, it's only a couple miles, so no big deal. I think the hotel we're staying in has a free shuttle service to the port, but I don't want to have to wait until they fill up the bus, and I believe I read where it only makes it's first trip at 11:30, and we are generally in the ship by then.

Good luck finding what works for you.
