Dalton5 Posted July 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2009 Has anybody ever gotten the upsell call when they had connecting cabins booked? We will be going on the Sensation in early December and have 2 OV cabins with 2 people in each. Any idea of the odds of getting offered 2 balcony rooms? Thanks

NJCruiser23 Posted July 3, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 3, 2009 I'd like to know this as well. We have 2 connecting 7A's, would love to be upselled at a reasonable price or upgraded to regular balconies.:D
candigirl41 Posted July 3, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 3, 2009 7A's aren't that bad. I had one and we could see the ocean if we looked straight out. The lifeboat was under our balcony. I got upgraded to that cabin from and inside guarantee, so I was quite happy. Candi
Indiansbaseball Posted July 3, 2009 #5 Share Posted July 3, 2009 We booked two inside cabins connecting on the Glory and I got the upsell call for a oceanview... I asked if they would move our other party as well for the same amt and they said yes that they were calling her next. So we both got new oceanview cabins connecting on our trip. nybumpkin Posted July 3, 2009 #6 Share Posted July 3, 2009 Just had this happen to us. We had two balcony cabins with a connecting door booked on Miracle and got an upsell offer for two adjoining (but not connecting) suites. $500 extra for four people. Twist my arm...:D Assuming we can have the balcony divider opened, we'll still have connecting cabins.

But YAY there is a chance that those of us with connecting can also get an upgrade. I'm glad there is at least a possibility. As long as I am on the cruise and I can see the ocean, I'm good.:):)

nybumpkin Posted July 3, 2009 #9 Share Posted July 3, 2009 When I sail with my kids connecting cabins are a must. I'm figuring that's why we were offered the upsell - someone really wanted those cabins with a connecting door.
