Why have the boards been slow?

Recommended Posts

If I remember in he past the boards have not been this slow! Is it everyone is busy or are there less people cruising right now?

I've been sort of busy, lately! I've made a few Powerpoints about my pretend cruise line! (yes, I have my own pretend cruise line on Powerpoint!) I've also been spending a little more time on Youtube! That's likely why my average posts per day is going down a little!

I am come in every so often just to see what the latest cutbacks RCI is doing.

I think a lot of people have left RCI and the RCI boards because of the cutbacks as why its so slow.

That is exactly what I was thinking Brad. Lots of people have moved on. I still read the boards and occasionally post because I have two RCI cruises out ahead of me, one in a couple of weeks. I need to keep up with the RCI cutbacks as well, don't want any new "surprises" when I board the ship. If it were not for CC, I wouldn't have known about most of the changes.

I am still waiting for that first e-mail from RCI regarding the changes to the Diamond Members loyalty perks from C & A, lol!

You hit the nail on the head here. I know of a few people that have stopped reading/posting the main boards due to the general attitude and RCI bashing lately.

I agree whole heartedly with this. There are already a couple examples in this thread. Let things go already.

Why? As a long time, loyal and frequent customer and a stockholder of RCI I think many of these changes are a big mistake and will hurt RCI in the long run.

The OP asked a question, many of us are giving opinions as to why the boards are slow. I and others believe it may have something to do with Diamond Members becoming disenchanted with RCI. So because we post this, we are denigrated?

RCI instituted the changes and pulled a fast one on its loyal Diamond Members. RCI instituted the disasterous and now kaput Viral Marketing Campaign. People have a right to discuss RCI's actions without being denigrated by others.

Or am I wrong, and only the positive aspects of RCI (of which there are many) can be discussed on CC without fear of being denigrated by others? Because if that is the case, CC members need to be informed of this policy.
