jax Posted July 13, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2009 How does this large liner process guests to take tenders ashore? do we all wait in the theatre and until our numbered group is called?
Cruise NH Posted July 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2009 First, if you have a morning shore excursion, you'll get priority tendering. You meet your tour group in the Theater and they call you off by tour number. For all others (and I'm quoting or paraphrasing from the Daily Programme from our Med trip in May): 'Tender tickets will be available from 8AM. Tender tickets will be required for ALL GUESTS withing to go ashore in the morning (apart from those on shore excursions).' You collect a ticket from the staff in the Chart Room/Sir Samuel's on deck 3 and take a seat until your number is called. Tickets are issued on a first come first served basis. They make an announcement when tickets are no longer required. I can't speak to how this ticket process worked, we always had a morning shore excursion and got off early. There were usually four boats out when we left, but they could have added more later.
