bardstowntraveller Posted July 20, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Can anyone tell me how cool the public rooms in the Solstice are? I'm wondering if I need to take a sweater or wrap to wear with sleeveless dresses at dinner.
lifevicarious Posted July 20, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2009 If you have to ask this question it means you are generally cold by nature. So I would bring a sweater or wrap! :)
Ships R Great Posted July 20, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2009 ALWAYS take a wrap of some kind to the public rooms on any ship. In our experience they are all cool or downright cold, at times. Better to be prepared than not.
TravelerThom Posted July 20, 2009 #4 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Can anyone tell me how cool the public rooms in the Solstice are? I'm wondering if I need to take a sweater or wrap to wear with sleeveless dresses at dinner. When I sailed on the Solstice [December in the Caribbean] I found the Dining Room on the cool side and the Theatre distinctly warm. Given the temperature variations within the ship I'd definitely take a wrap, as it was not possible to be comfortable without "layering".
samka Posted July 20, 2009 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2009 Just came back from July 6 Eastern Med sailing. I thought the temp in the public spaces was just right Neither hot or cold--about 72 degrees F.

kittyluvrnurse Posted July 21, 2009 #7 Share Posted July 21, 2009 I never leave home (the room) without my wrap. NEVER. No exceptions on Solstice.
Rare Texed Posted July 21, 2009 #8 Share Posted July 21, 2009 I thought the temperature on Solstice on our B2B was perfect. :)
Longboysfan Posted July 21, 2009 #9 Share Posted July 21, 2009 Even on the early sailing the temperature was very even throughout the ship. Our room AC did have to be adjusted - was too hot. But that was fixed by 10am the first sea day.
