baljaffray Posted July 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2009 Looking at VOS for Oct10.We have stayed in an outside with 2 pullmans on our previous cruises, both cabins being 183 sq ft. The cabin size is stated as 154sq ft. Every inch is required when there is 4 of you,has this ship the smallest cabins in the RCCL fleet?

We were on the Vision for 14 days in an OV through the Panama in Jan. It was doable for 2 people. So glad there weren't 4 of us.:D
CL-JW Posted August 3, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2009 We had an outside cabin on Vision - deck 3. It had two pullman bunks which folded down from the ceiling, but I can't imagine having 4 people in there. Attached are a couple of pics of the room (none with the bunks pulled down though). glgolfer Posted August 3, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 3, 2009 We had a D1 for 22 days on the Vision with two full size golf bags in 2000 with no problem.

The cabin size is stated as 154sq ft. Every inch is required when there is 4 of you,has this ship the smallest cabins in the RCCL fleet? We just got back from our VOS Baltic cruise with 2 kids. We were in cabin 2596 - outiside with the two pullmans. I guess it would depend on the size of the other two people and how much stuff they bring. We had 2 suitcases for the 4 of us and each a backpack. My kids, 9 and 11, brought more-or-less empty backpacks because they got so many things in the AO program. There are 3 drawers for clothes, 3 smaller drawers for gear, two good sized deep shelves, two vanity sized cabinets, two bedside tables with drawers and a good sized bathroom cabinet. The suitcases fit under the bed easily and the closet space had plenty of space and hangers for all of our things. Bottom line, there was plenty of storage space to keep all of our things away and the room tidy. Our airline allowance was puny...we had 15 kilos maximum and only 2 bags for the 4 of us with a very small carry on each. So that forced us to bring less. Admittedly we were pretty efficient but we did have fresh clothes for everyday...and got the usual souvenirs. So not sure if its the smallest in the fleet...but it sure was a lot bigger than NCL and in peeking into the VOS inside cabins, the outside cabins were bigger. It was definitely sufficient for all of us.

Sovereign class - now just Majesty and Monarch - outside cabin = 122 square feet.
