Don't Blame RCCL for Airline Issues

As most of us know, (aside from financial issues), airline problems are a major reason for people avoiding travelling today. Missing baggage, missed connections, etc., can turn an otherwise "fun vacation" into a nightmare. Unfortunately, most of us are at the mercy of some airline while getting to our point of arrival/departure. It isn't fair however, to blame the cruise company for the airline's failure. I've been reading many posts (on other boards) that seem to envelop the cruise experience with their airline experience as thougth they were inter-changable. (Remember, the airlines don't run the cruise industry and the cruise industry doesn't run the airlines). Sit back and relax...but be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. Anticipate at least 3 hours at the airport for check-in, a meal, and a little shopping. If you care to have a spa experience at the airport, leave yourself at least 6 hrs. Believe it not, they have some of the best facials around.
