Leaving tomorrow!!

;)We are so excited! We leave tomorrow on the Monarch. Just wondering what's the earliest time we can get on board. I've heard that we can get on around 10:45ish, but I called RCCL and they suggested we can probably board around 12:00. Our boarding passes say 12:30. Can anyone help us out? We want to get on and enjoy the ship as soon as we can.

Thanks for all your help!

We have been onboard as early as 11am, never later than noon.

I would wear or carry on your swimsuit. The previous poster was right, your room won't be available until 1 or 2. Your luggage may not get to your room until 4 or 5.

Carry on what you will need, but only what you really need.

Have a blast, Jim

Oh we go on the Monarch next Monday and again the following Friday. Taking my DD on a girl's cruise. The boys are staying home. Well over the weekend they are going to a Braves Baseball game.

I normally arrive at the port around 10:30. On the Bahama's Port of Call forumn I have asked Preston and Shirley if RCI will let you in at that time. I remember on Disney from PC once having to wait until the opened up the fencing to let us in. Last year on Carnival we were there very early, like when the others are just getting off and we had no problem in getting into the cruise terminal.

Jsme, 10:30 *may* be ok, or you may be waiting outside in the sun for about half an hour. Arriving at 11 is almost guaranteed to get you straight into the terminal.

Jsme, did you notice on the review just posted,

"EMBARKATION:

There were no other ships in port on Friday. We arrived at about 10:30. We parked, went through security, and got our SeaPass cards all by 10:45. Boarding did not start until about 11:30, but drinks and cookies were available while we waited, and the staff in the terminal was very friendly and pleasant."

You must have missed that I posted on that thread. I have only been on 4 RCI cruises and the last one was a while back. I like getting to the port early. I did see the post you copied. So I will be there early as I normally am. Thanks for all of your help.
