We are on board Infinity. We have had a very nice cruise so far, and we are heading to the Canal.

If anyone has any questions, just ask.

We have had great weather, and the food and service on board is very nice.

Host Andy,

So nice of you to post on. I hate to brag too much, because something can always go wrong, but so far, it is everything we could ask for. Not perfect, but still great.:)

Hey Texed ~ Happy cruising. I'd be really jealous if I wasn't going to be on a ship next month!

Hope it is smooth sailing for you the rest of the trip. Have a great time and let us hear from you when you return!

ENJOY

Texed: I trust you will love your cruise. And since my wife and I will be on the Infinity in about six weeks for a 'round the horn adventure, I'll be very interested in everything and anything you have to say about anything and everything!

It's great to hear that you are having such a wonderful time. We are boarding the Infinity on Monday just as you are leaving? Did you try the specialty restaurant? If so, were you pleased? Were there any theme nights? Hope the rest of your cruise continues to be great!

Thanks for getting the Infinity all warmed up for us!

We'll wave to you as you get off & we get on!

We sail on the Infinity on Jan 3rd for Buenos Aires via Valparaiso.

Thank you for the post and your comments on the speciality restaurant woudl be appreciated. Is it worth the $30. to eat there or should we just stick with the main dinning room???

Hi Texed ~

I'm SO jealous. We disembarked the Infinity on the day you sailed. So sad! We hated to say goodbye! It looks like you are having a terrific time though - so glad to hear it. I've always wanted to go through the canal & I, too, watched you on the bridge cams this AM. BTW, how has the weather been?

If you're in the mood to relay a greeting to a FUN crew member for me, ask for Doan (pronounced Doe-ahn) in the Trellis Dining Room at dinner. Cute Turkish Sommelier/wine steward who we had so much fun with during our trip! You could tell him "Madame (pronounced the French way!) Theresa" says hello! And tell him to read (& REPLY TO) his email! He wanted photos from us & hopefully he got them! He is due to leave the ship in Ft. Lauderdale when you get there (unless his plans didn't work out).

And try the Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc if you're winos like me! (His recommendation.)

Don't feel obligated... but he was SO NICE (and a very funny guy) to us, I definitely recommend meeting him. If you have any "older" ladies in your group, they will LOVE him! Let me know if you run into him!

Have a FABULOUS rest of your cruise! And HAPPY NEW YEAR!

("Madame") Theresa

Hi:) I had a bottle of the Nobilo on the Constellation......actually it was a gift:D and I shared it with 2 of my tablemates! I offered it to everyone but only 2 accepted....oh well, it was more for us;)

And it was EXCELLENT!

DH and I are taking this cruise on the Infinity in April, so please post a full report when you return. Do you think it is worth taking a shore excursion in Panama or is it better to just stay on the ship for the day as it is passing through the locks? Also, what did you do at the ports in Mexico? Any recommendations?

Hello everyone,

We have had fantastic weather on the cruise. All the while in the Pacific, it was smooth as glass. Today, we are in the Atlantic, and it is a little bouncy. It doesn't bother me, but it does some folks.

We went to the Senior Officers Cocktail Party today, and we met some of the officers. They were very nice.

I am so glad some of you are following us around. We couldn't ask for much better than what we have here on Infinity.

Wew had our Muster Drtill at 5:15 prior to departure.

If you have any more questions, just let us know.:)

Hi Tex,

Just thought I'd drop in to say hello! Have a margarita for us to see 2005 in!

We are following you to Hawaii - we sail 15th January 2006. Before then we are going on a 7 day to Spain and Portugal from Southampton in the UK.

Have a grat time - there is no doubt you will!

Happy new year

Texed, I am so jealous. We just got off Infinity as you were getting on. If you go to the SS United States again, tell Dominique that Gerald and Linda said to say hello. We dined with him 5 nights on our Hawaii cruise and he made us lots of special items, not on the menu He and the head chef Milos (pronounced 'Meelowsh') are incredible!

I am glad things are going well. Some members of the cruise staff were a little apprehensive about this cruise. They were expecting over 500 kids. Yikes!

L11 - Glad to see I'm not the only one sending a quick "howdy" to one of the Infinity's spectacular crew! We had such a fabulous time, I think it's great for passengers who follow us onto ships to meet the particularly wonderful people!

I, too, heard about the huge number of kids on this trip and wonder if they're very noticeable??
