Charleston SC info needed

When we took the Galaxy out of Charleston two years ago, they had covered parking inside a warehouse right at the pier. I can't remember how much it cost but we thought it was a decent deal.

You might want to contact the port to see what your ship's arrangement will be. Cheers.

Parking at the pier was $10@ day last time we sailed from Charleston. We drove down the day before and got free parking at the Charleston Riverview. They were in the process of new management, but for our B2B it was cheaper than parking at the pier and we were totally rested when we boarded.

The parking situation in Charleston is not bad. The price is now $12 per day or $84 for the entire week. Cash only, no credit cards accepted. When you first approach the port you will have to show your ID and Documents to the security. From there you will drive along to the next person who will ask if you are parking or dropping off, then at the next person you will pay for your parking. Then you drive along to a tent covered area with 4 lanes to drop off your luggage. I dont suggest tipping here cause all they do is grab the luggage out of your car and throw it on a cart to be taken to the ship, but that is just my personal opinion. From there you are off to parking your car, which you will be directed toward. Most of the parking is inside the warehouses, but not all. Then small buses will take you to the pier for check in. Overall this process worked very well when we boared the Majesty on Dec. 18th. Feel free to email any questions.
