ncgolferette Posted August 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2009 My DH and I will be taking our first HAL Cruise next year and I have a question about booking ship excursions on line. We plan on taking some private excusions on the same day we are taking some ship excursions. How can you find out what time the ship excursions leave in order to arrange for your private tours? When you get into HAL's excursion page it lists the excursions and their length of time but gives no indication as to whether a certain tours goes in the morning or afternoon. Any information would be appreciated.
RuthC Posted August 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2009 When you go in to the "For Booked Guests" area of the website, and actually book the shore excursions, you are given a chance to pick which tour time (if there are choices) you want. If there's only one departure, that's the only choice---and it does show. Remember, if you're doing the HAL tour first, plan a comfortable cushion of time between your two tours. HAL tours are notorious for returning late. Even a few minutes late can throw off plans---everything takes longer than you think it will.
pms4104 Posted August 14, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 14, 2009 Generally, the shore excursions for booked guests are not available til maybe 6 months out from sailing, at the earliest. At that point, you'll be able to see the departure times of specific tours.
