Tyskie Posted August 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2009 I have searched and searched but for some reason can not find a printable menu for Sabatini's (I know it's here somewhere because I have seen it). We're a group of 10 and it would be great if we could show the dining options at Sabatini's. Thank you !! :D

Lubber Line Posted August 19, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 19, 2009 There is a PDF version, of Sabatini's menu, available on the Princess web site. It can be printed. I do not know if this is the most current menu, but at least the stated cover charge is correct. Regards, Matt
Tyskie Posted August 19, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted August 19, 2009 Thank you, one and all...................it was exactly what I was looking for. Perfect !!!! FYI - the menu from Wishing on a Star, if you enlarge the page to 200%, makes it very readable. Pia, thank you too! I have enjoyed your live posts. :D
YWW Posted August 19, 2009 #8 Share Posted August 19, 2009 Back about 8 or 9 years ago when we dined at the Sabatini on a Caribbean cruise on Grand Princess, we didn't need to choose any dishes. The only thing we had to choose was the bottle of wine we ordered. They brought out all dishes on their multi-course tasting menu, one course after another until we were ready to explode. If I recall there were like 12 or 14 courses and we spent a good 2.5 hours there. Things may very well be different now that you may have to choose one out of each course but if you see several things you like, I see no reason why you can't order all of them. Recent diners of Sabatini may want to provide an update on this.

Recent diners of Sabatini may want to provide an update on this. We dined at Sabatini's on the Sapphire on 8/02. It is still similar - you choose your soup/salad and you choose your entree, but they still bring out all appetizers and both pastas. Oh, and you choose your dessert. :) The menu at the Princess website - http://www.princess.com/learn/onboard/dining/menus/specialty_restaurant/Sabatinis%20Dinner%20Menu.pdf - is the current menu. I had the bean soup, the veal chop and the tiramisu and they were all delicious.
patseacruiser Posted August 19, 2009 #10 Share Posted August 19, 2009 It's something like a 17 course tasting meal. You choose your entree but they bring about 17 difference amuse bouches just to taste. It took about 2-1/2 to 3 hours. Well worth it. And our waiter was hysterically funny and entertaining. hbcruiser Posted August 19, 2009 #11 Share Posted August 19, 2009 Hi, Sabatini does have a great menu. When they give it to you, they let you sit a while trying to decide what to order. Then the waiter comes over and tells you to just pick an entree as everything else comes to you. The entire menu, a little of everything to taste. If you can't decide on the entree, they will bring you more than one. At dessert time, you can have them all if you like. Enjoy!
Cre8tivCruiser Posted August 19, 2009 #12 Share Posted August 19, 2009 Do they change the portion sizes if there are only 2 people dining? Or should you try to go with a bigger group since it seems like a lot of the food is served family style? eta: I wouldn't want a lot of the food to go to waste! donaldsc Posted August 19, 2009 #14 Share Posted August 19, 2009 You obviously did not try very hard or at all. Did you try typing "Sabatin Menu" as a search term in Google? You would have seen lots of useful hits. DON
Tyskie Posted August 19, 2009 Author #15 Share Posted August 19, 2009 Nope didn't "google it" but I DID spend a lot of time on the different threads and did the search on Princess boards. I am thankful for the many helpful cruisers on CC. That is what makes this site so special ! Obviously, I wasn't as resourceful as you expected me to be. Thanks for your input.
