cost of double decker bus - did we get ripped off?

I had heard $2. We went last week and they charged us $5. I speak Spanish so was speaking to them in Spanish and told them I thought it was $2. They said "no way - it used to be $3 but that was 2 years ago". We paid $5 and it was well worth it. But now that I return, I am reading others' reviews from the same trip and they paid $3.

Just curious!! We really enjoyed the trip and it was certainly worth $5. (and of course we tipped the guide and the driver)

It was $3 in October of 2011. It was great fun and worth $5, in my opinion :).

We were there Oct 25 , and it was $3.00..I believe this is what it has been for some time.

Just think of what little you get for $5 at home!

We were there last October.....it was three dollars at the bus terminal/plaza but we picked up people in front of a hotel that said they paid five. I guess it depends on where you get on.

We were there last November, paid $5. Was a bit surprised when he said 5 after reading it would be 3, but it was worth it. :)
