On board credits

I have read through some of these posts people commenting on their OBC's. We weren't offered anything how is it that some people have gotten them?

Did you book directly or with a travel agent? Agents give out OBC's. If you booked through one and didn't get any, you might want to find another one. :)

My TA doesn't do it - after I found out most are giving roughly a $100 pp credit I told them to give me one or I look elsewhere. PG pays one of the highest commissions in the business. You will find one that will do this - mine just cut me a $200 check.

I'm going to find a new one next time we go on the PG, we received a $100 OBC from our TA. Heard about others getting $300. I've never shopped TA's, but will next time.

We booked our package through AAA. They never mentioned anything.

We're not supposed to promote any specific TA so I won't, but I would suspect that individuals who can make decisions and promote thier services through incentives will be more likely to give OBC. Mine gave $300. It's not a huge amount considering ht overall cost of the trip, but it certainly helps!
