Wanted to relate my story from 2022 with Delta. I knew about the no change fees and the credits. I had booked a flight and later saw that it had dropped like $50. I called and I cannot remember what I said but they gave me a refund of the $50 to my CC, very nice experience. About a month later there was a $350 price drop. I called and they refused to give me the refund. I said, can you not see where I called a month ago and you gave me a refund? They said yes but that the agent at the time had made a mistake and I should not have gotten the refund. I ended up speaking to a supervisor. They said that I was trying to abuse the Delta goodwill policy of no change fees after Covid. She finally admitted that I could just cancel the flight and rebook but then I would have the $350 as a flight credit voucher, which I may not use. I kept everything the way it was because she said she was making notes on the reservation and if I called in again about it, I may get banned from Delta.

As always, get it in writing or record the conversation. There is another option. This happened to us on the Bermuda cuise that I started this thread about. If there is a higher cabin category that is the same price or cheaper than you booked, they will upgrade you. We had booked a balcony and they upgraded us to a club balcony for the same price.

Doing the following ports in October 2024. Each port is one day after the other, no sea days in between. We are not opposed to doing excursions, but wanted to get advice on what we might could do on our own in each port. We are not sure how far each docking location is from any activities or town centers. No major mobility issues but not looking for anything strenuous either. I just wanted to follow up. I was able to book one of our two dinner reservations when we wanted it and I was able to book Choir of Man when we wanted it. So now we only have extra shows that take reservations and one more dinner reservation. We have a 9:30 to 10 embarkation. I am sure we will be able to book the extra shows and the one dinner reservation without an issue. Thanks again to everyone for their help.

Yay. Just got off the phone with NCL and was able to move to a Club Balcony for no additional cost. Thanks for all of the help and replies.

So just to be clear. I have already booked and put money down on the Oct 2024 cruise. So, you are saying that I can apply the FCC toward what I still owe on the Oct 2024 cruise, like a credit. I do not have to use the FCC to book a new cruise. Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. What about upgrades? We are not really interested in a FCC as we have an NCL cruise already booked in October 2024 and I heard you have to use the FCC within a year. Thanks

New to NCL. We have a cruise Oct 29 2023 in a regular balcony. Price has dropped $150 PP for balcony. What is the NCL policy? Can you get OBC? I read if you want to upgrade cabin that it has to be more than you paid. Currently the club balcony is less than we paid for the balcony. TIA

I thought service dogs were required to be allowed by law. But to check the number of ships I can't remember the exact website but just Google ship port times and you will find the site's

Just a note. For $50 for each person we got transportation to and from the visitors center and a pretty much private tour by someone knowledgeable about the sanctuary. I highly recommend the tour I mentioned for 2 to 4 people.
