I know this has been covered on here, but the threads are old and information not current.
My wife and I have regularly used a large Miami based online agent for quotes and comparatives against local and UK agents. We select the best based on value and currency fluctuations, and have utilised all three on a number of occasions. Recently, I found an excellent deal on the US site. Our regular agent no longer works there, so I just made an online booking. It was accepted and a deposit paid. However, this morning I received an email from an agent there advising my booking had been cancelled and the deposit refunded as we are not US residents or citizens. He directed me to a notice on the website which I have enclosed.
This is strange, as we have previously booked RCCL, Celebrity and Princess through that agency. The current booking we are after is with Princess.
Can anyone recommend a US agent whose services they have recently utilised? We are after best value, not guidance or hand holding. US online agents tend to offer much better deals and bonuses than are available elsewhere and we shop on price and value.
