SMNYCruise Posted November 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2006 We will be visiting Bonaire in February on the Crown Princess. I am trying to find a snorkeling trip for our family. We are all experienced snorkelers with our own equipment. Woodwind is already overbooked and Renee is also booked. I am hesitant to use the ships excursions since they are often very crowded. Any suggestions?
sunshine3360 Posted November 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2006 We are going with Rene in January, but I don't beleuve it is too hard to do this on your own. Klein Bonaire is easy to reach and the whole island is a National park. All shore entry. We had looked into this, but there is no shade there and I can only stand so much heat. Also someone said there is great snorkeling on Airport Beach. If your group is large enough you can rent a cab for so many hours and go as you like. There are many good ideas on this site. Search Bonaire snorkeling. Good luck.
