Bill'sBride Posted July 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2013 We are taking this cruise, our first river cruise, in October. I am trying to find out roughly what time we would arrive in Paris. I am guessing evening, and want to consider if it is too late to make any plans for that night. Any other tips/suggestions from those who have taken this trip? We are not doing extra nights in Prague, but are doing the extension in Paris. Thanks!
Arizonasunshine Posted July 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2013 We did this the other way (Prague-Paris) in 2010. Had a great time. I would strongly recommend adding some time in Prague. It is a wonderful city with a lot to see and some very good food. It's also a lot less expensive than Paris.
Bob++ Posted July 29, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2013 We are doing the same cruise in August. Looking at the itinerary, Day 10: After breakfast, disembark for a coach drive through Germany's scenic countryside to the American Cemetery in Luxembourg..... Continue to the City of Luxembourg with free time to explore and lunch on your own, before continuing to Paris. That would be at least four hours on the coach plus time for exploring, so I guess arrival in Paris in plenty of time to change and enjoy the evening. This is our first river cruise too.
