coachk34 Posted June 2, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2004 I think this is truly a hidden treasure. Pay the .50 cents and take the elevator to the top and enjoy an amazing view. Walk up the "Queens Staircase" and check out the fort. This is pretty much a free activity and only about a 15 minute walk from the boat. Yin Yang Posted June 2, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2004 I was curious as to the fee for the elevator, and the distance to the Tower. Thanks so much for your post! coachk34 Posted July 30, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted July 30, 2004 The cost to go up the water tower was $1.00 per person I think. It is about a 15-20 minute walk from the port up to the water tower.
cruise_girl_too Posted September 22, 2004 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2004 Ok...sounds like something I want to do..but where is it exactly??? How do I get there from the cruise ship dock???
coachk34 Posted October 6, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted October 6, 2004 From the cruise ship walk through the welcome center and turn to your left, once you get on the main street remain walking to your left. You will walk about 3 or 4 blocks and turn right up the hill. There will be signs and you will be be able to look and see the tower. From the main street its about a 3 block walk up the hill. Hope that helps.

susi_q Posted October 18, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 18, 2004 Make sure that you take a trip down (or up) the queen's staircase while you are there. It's beautiful - with lots of history.
