I was wondering if any past passengers have used the Connect@Sea app for their phone or mobile device (I read about it on Oceania's website) and if you thought it was worthwhile.

We just left the Marina and I had a very good experience with Connect@sea. I had downloaded the free app before leaving home, but the Internet guy had to reload it since you need to be connected with the ship wifi to register an account. The calls were crystal clear, but do tell friends and family to expect to see Florida in the caller ID. We did lots of Thanksgiving day calling.

Also, as an added bonus, you get 15 minute free wifi on the ship when you download the app.

Thank you do much for your reply. Can you explain to me how it works? Do you use it instead of using your cell plan connected to the to ships cell tower?
